The Crucible is a volunteer-run, private, members-only club for the BDSM, Swingers, and other alternative sexuality communities located in Washington, DC. The Crucible hosts a variety of activities to serve these communities, everything from BDSM education and outreach events, to play parties, social events, yoga classes, monthly board game days, and arts events related to alternative sexuality. The club reopened in its current location in the Eckington neighborhood of NE DC in April 2017.
